Karen Cooper, Vice President of the Atlanta office, is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing executive searches. Her success in multiple special assignments has resulted in the placement of Executive Vice Presidents of Marketing, Senior Vice Presidents/General Merchandise Managers, Vice Presidents of Operations, Divisional Merchandise Managers, Directors of Human Resources, and Regional Vice Presidents.

Karen joined Ashford in 1987. Previously employed by The Limited Inc. for over six years, she began her retail career with The Limited Stores in Ohio and Tennessee. With the Lane Bryant Division, Karen worked in the multi-store environment of store operations leading teams under the new Limited Stores ownership. Promoted to District Manager in 1985, Karen led store-opening teams in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University. She volunteers in many local community and youth organizations.
