Janis E. Martinez is President of Ashford Management Group, Inc., an Atlanta-based national executive search firm. As President, Ms. Martinez oversees all operations within the company and conducts executive searches for key clients.

Jan has been in the retail executive search field since 1976. She has been nominated for the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year. Jan serves on the board of The American Red Cross Blood Services as Vice Chairman and serves on the board of National Association of Women Business Owners. She is a member of the National Retail Merchants Association and an active member of many community service groups.

Before founding Ashford Management Group in 1986, Ms. Martinez worked for ten years with an Atlanta executive recruiting firm. In addition to residing in the U.S., she has also resided in Canada and the United Kingdom where she worked in a variety of corporate settings.
